How does teethlovers tooth powder clean my teeth?
teethlovers organic tooth powder consists of 100% active ingredients. This means we do without the 80% additives that are used in conventional toothpaste merely to create the consistency and color of the paste.
Rügen healing chalk gently removes plaque and unwanted discoloration. When brushing your teeth, baking soda and xylitol liquefy with your saliva, helping to prevent cavities and gum disease. HAP, hydroxyapatite, remineralizes and strengthens your tooth enamel.
The antibacterial and anti-inflammatory plant extracts promote a healthy oral environment. The end result is naturally white, clean teeth and healthy gums – powered by nature!
It doesn't foam? Why is that a good thing?
You're right, our powder doesn't foam like most toothpastes. That's intentional! Instead of foaming surfactants, the powder stimulates your mouth's natural saliva production, transforming it into a gentle cleansing emulsion. Saliva is your body's best agent for strong tooth enamel and healthy teeth, which is why you produce almost 1.5 liters of saliva per day. Foaming agents, on the other hand, can irritate the sensitive oral mucosa and promote inflammation.
Why does the tooth powder not contain fluoride?
We do not use fluoride, which is controversial due to its potential adverse effects on general health. At teethlovers, we prevent cavities naturally and holistically in the following ways:
- Thorough and gentle removal of dental plaque, the food source for caries bacteria.
- Neutralization of acids in the oral cavity through the alkaline properties of the tooth powder
